The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) committee meets at a significant point in the international system, when new security risks and geopolitical competition contain a growing threat to the rules-based international order. This committee’s agenda item, “Strengthening NATO’s Global Partnerships to Uphold the Rules-Based International Order,” aims to find new ways in which NATO can enhance collaboration with partner countries, international organizations and regional alliances outside of the Euro-Atlantic region. In order to ensure that NATO continues to be an upholder of international peace, security and cooperation in a changing global order, ambassadors will debate ways to strengthen shared values, advance international law, and improve political stability through communication, diplomacy and collective action.
